How To Look Amazing On 30 Degrees +

High heat and warm sunny days are super fun and appreciated during the Summer season. However, what is not so amusing is trying to do your makeup on 30+ degrees Celsius! A lot of women simply go out barefaced and they let their skin breathe and look natural. Although this is a good idea from time to time, you can still follow some makeup tips & tricks and enjoy a flawless base in the upcoming heated days, sweat-free! Here is how.

Top 5 Makeup Tips During The Summer Season

1. Matte Base

If you use a matte primer you will have a smooth and pore-free base. You will also notice how your oils stay in place and your face will look even and perfect for further makeup application.

Apply your primer with your fingers, and once it sets in move onto your foundation.

We recommend a matte foundation, a matte concealer, or a simple matte BB cream. Apply any of these with your fingers for an even finish! Also, don't forget to set the rest of your face with your matte powder, it is an essential makeup item when it comes to the longevity of your makeup!

2. Long-Lasting Shadow

Eyeshadow will add a lot of depth and dimension to your eyes, eye shape & your eye color. Unfortunately, not every eyeshadow can survive high heat. Shadows can smudge, budge, and end up looking uneven and smeared off.

However, with the right eyelid & eyeshadow base, you will notice a dramatic change! Prep your eyelids and add your favorite concealer onto the lids. Once this sets, go in with brown color in the crease (a matte shade) but apply a shimmery and pigmented shadow over the lid. Color-wise, you can stick with anything that you prefer + which looks good on you.

This summer, we will be spotting a lot of pinks and yellows, so be open to these as your suggested options!

3. Lash Extensions

3. Lash Extensions

Don't you think that the worst feeling in the world is having that black panda eye, unexpectedly?! Walking down the street, dancing or swimming in the sea or the pool are just some of the most exciting activities in the summer. However, once you add a smeared-off makeup look on top of that, your day may feel ruined.

This is why mascaras, glue-on lashes, and eyeliner are not a good idea during the summer season. On the other hand, a brilliant idea is getting a set of lash extensions! These can survive high heat, water exposure, swimming, as well as sweating! They will look flawless on their own, and you won't have to invest a lot of time into getting them ready for the day.

The best part? You can have one set for 2-3 weeks!

4. Matte Lipstick

Your lips will be boiling hot and sweaty on high heat. Unfortunately, you can't do a lot to prevent that (besides from drink some cold beers and eat ice cream), but you can invest in a proper lipstick and in the right consistency! In the summer, the best and long-lasting lipstick is a matte lip, or even a liquid lipstick. You should apply your favorite shade with precise (yet slow) motions. Make sure you also outline your lip corners with a proper lip pencil. You should use a matte lip pencil that is 1-2 shades darker than the lipstick itself.

5. Matte Setting Spray

A matte setting spray will seal the deal and will help with the longevity of your makeup. A matte setting spray will set all of your makeup in place and will give it an amazing outcome. In fact, your makeup will stay on for the following 5-8 hour period! Spritz it 3-4 times and make sure that the spray is 20cm away from your face. Don't forget to fan your face as well, with either a notebook or an actual fan. Women with super dry skin types can use a hydrating or a radiance-boosting setting spray. Heads up tho, since this way your makeup may smudge sooner than the 5-8 hour mark.
