Hi guys, we're glad to present our latest song! It's a cover of Be More Barrio by Sheppard, a song written exclusively for the fashion brand www.pullandbear.com. Their project #bemorebarrio aims at highlighting the neighbourhood as the place that summarises normality, cosmopolitan life and a shared lifestyle throughout the world.

Η Pull&Bear, η νεανική αλυσίδα μόδας και μέλος του Inditex Group, λανσάρει το Be More Barrio, μια ωδή στην καθημερινή και την κοσμοπολίτικη ζωή στις γειτονιές, μέσα από ένα ταξίδι στις πιο εμβληματικές περιοχές του κόσμου.

Είναι ένα μοναδικό ταξίδι, όπου η Pull&Bear αναζητά τις παγκόσμιες αρχές της ομαλότητας και της καινοτομίας στα καφέ, τα καθαριστήρια, τα παντοπωλεία, και στις προσωπικές συζητήσεις των κατοίκων. Το πειραματικό project αποσκοπεί στο να δείξει ότι, όπου κι αν είσαι, στο Τορόντο, το Σίδνεϊ ή τη Μαδρίτη, οι ζωές των νέων ανθρώπων μοιράζονται κοινά στοιχεία. Οι γειτονιές είναι παντού οικείες, καθημερινές, άνετες, φρέσκιες, νεανικές και χωρίς αποκλεισμούς. Ένα μέρος όπου ανήκουμε όλοι.

Το αυστραλιανό συγκρότημα Sheppard εμπνεύστηκε από τη δική του διαδρομή στις πιο αυθεντικές γειτονιές του κόσμου και έγραψε το τραγούδι Be More Barrio, αποκλειστικά για την Pull&Bear.

Οι Sheppard πρόσφατα γνώρισαν διεθνή επιτυχία με το “Geronimo”, ένα κομμάτι που έφτασε τα 25 εκατ. views στο YouTube.

Για πρώτη φορά, ένα κομμάτι δημιουργείται με έξι διασκευές του που ερμηνεύονται από διεθνώς επιτυχημένους καλλιτέχνες, οι οποίοι συνολικά έχουν 11 εκατ. followers στο YouTube και πάνω από 2,7 δις. views. Με αυτό τον τρόπο δίνεται μια νέα εκδοχή στη συνηθισμένη διαδικασία της μουσικής βιομηχανίας. Αντί να δημιουργηθούν διασκευές ενός γνωστού τραγουδιού, η Pull&Bear παρουσιάζει διάφορες εκδοχές παράλληλα με το ίδιο το τραγούδι.

Οι διασκευές ερμηνεύονται και ηχογραφήθηκαν από τους: Boyce Avenue από τη Φλόριντα (ΗΠΑ), Daniela Andrade από το Τορόντο (Καναδάς), Philippe Leon Altmeyer από την Κολωνία (Γερμανία), το μεξικάνικο συγκρότημα Vasquez Sounds από την Καλιφόρνια (ΗΠΑ), τις Κορεάτισες Jayesslee από το Σίδνεϊ (Αυστραλία) και Dvicio από τη Μαδρίτη (Ισπανία).

Το κάθε group ηχογράφησε τη δική του διασκευή στη δική του γειτονιά, δείχνοντάς μας ότι αυτά είναι τα σημεία που διαμορφώνουν την προσωπικότητά μας μέσα σε έναν παγκοσμιοποιημένο κόσμο που μοιράζεται τις ίδιες αξίες και ανησυχίες.

Το project γεννήθηκε από τη συνεργασία της Pull&Bear με το agency S.C.P.F και την εταιρία παραγωγής digital content Animal Maker, και ξεκινά στις 28 Σεπτεμβρίου. Θα λανσαριστεί στα 900 και πλέον φυσικά και online καταστήματα του brand σε 70 διεθνείς αγορές, καθώς και σε digital video channels όπως το YouTube, YouKu και Vimeo, στα social media του brand και των καλλιτεχνών και σε μουσικές πλατφόρμες όπως οι iTunes, Spotify και Deezer.
