STAFF RATE IWC AS A "GREAT PLACE TO WORK"

IWC Schaffhausen has been awarded certification from "Great Place to Work" for the first time. This organisation, which is active in roughly 50 countries around the world, carries out a structured anonymous online survey to find out how happy a company's employees are.

 In the survey conducted in summer 2019, staff were able to rate their employer in the following categories: Credibility, respect, fairness, team spirit and pride. 86 per cent of participants believe that they have an excellent workplace on the whole at IWC. IWC performed particularly well with regard to how proud its employees feel of the company, with 90 per cent declaring that they are proud to work here. The employee survey and separate audit of the company culture gave rise to improvement measures that are in the process of being implemented.

TRUSTING WORKPLACE CULTURE AS AN INTEGRAL COMPONENT OF CSR

That IWC has been certified as a “Great Place to Work” is the result of years of continuous investment in a progressive workplace culture. An entrepreneurial mindset, a diverse workforce, flexible working time models and excellent opportunities for training and development are objectives that IWC also explicitly emphasised in its industry-leading Sustainability Report, published in 2018. “Our talent development strategy focuses on how to attract, develop and retain talented employees from all over the world, in order to ensure that IWC has the talent and skills needed for the future,” explains René Behr, Director of Human Resources and Sustainability Committee Member at IWC Schaffhausen.

IWC also greatly values health and well-being in the workplace. For instance, the new Manufakturzentrum boasts excellent working conditions for employees. The workstations get a lot of natural light and have a special ergonomic design. The dishes on offer in the two canteens in Schaffhausen include many regional and seasonal products, while fruit is also available free of charge. Many of IWC’s employees also voluntarily participate in environmental and social projects.

Η IWC Schaffhausen κερδίζει για πρώτη φορά την αξιολόγηση ‘Great Place to Work’. Η εταιρεία που δραστηριοποιείται σε 50 χώρες, διεξάγει μια δομημένη και ανώνυμη online έρευνα σχετικά με την ικανοποίηση του προσωπικού της. 

Στην έρευνα που διεξήχθη το καλοκαίρι του 2019, το προσωπικό είχε τη δυνατότητα να αξιολογήσει την εταιρεία στις κατηγορίες: αξιοπιστία, σεβασμός, αμεροληψία, ομαδικό πνεύμα και υπερηφάνεια. Το 86% των συμμετεχόντων πιστεύει ότι η IWC αποτελεί ένα εξαιρετικό εργασιακό περιβάλλον. Η εταιρεία σημείωσε αρκετά υψηλή απόδοση σχετικά με το πόσο υπερήφανοι αισθάνονται οι υπάλληλοι να δουλεύουν για αυτή, με ποσοστό 90%. Η έρευνα των εργαζομένων και ο ξεχωριστός έλεγχος(audit) της εταιρικής κουλτούρας, στοχεύουν στη λήψη βελτιωτικών μέτρων τα οποία βρίσκονται σε διαδικασία υλοποίησης. «Είμαι ικανοποιημένος που επιβεβαιώθηκαν οι αξίες της IWC ως εργοδότη. Η αξιολόγηση της IWC ως «Great Place to Work» είναι αποτέλεσμα πολλών ετών διαρκούς επένδυσης σε μια προοδευτική εταιρική κουλτούρα.
